The Indian Red Cross society Anklav Taluka Branch was registered on 19th December 2019 under the Uniform Rules of Indian Red cross Society, which had been duly approved by the Hon’ble president of India. We have come to a long way following a small beginning in December 2019, and have implemented wide variety of projects related to First Aid Training, Free Health Check up camps, Free Red Cross Clinic, Thalassemia and Sickle cell awareness programs in Schools, Disaster relief Activities During natural Calamities, Low cost Pathology laboratory in Anklav Taluka and Anand District. While implementing different developmental projects, our trust has always been to improve health status of vulnerable people of society. We always endeavored to develop strategy to achieve core values of our organization. Recently we are awarded by Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat for our iconic performance in First Aid Trainings. Our mission is to inspire, encourage and initiate all times all form of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can minimize and even prevented and thus contribute to creating more congenial climate for peace.  

As we are aware that Indian Red cross Society is a voluntary humanitarian organization having a network of over 1100 branches throughout  the country, providing relief in times of disaster/emergencies and promote health and care of the vulnerable people and communities. It is a leading of the largest independent humanitarian organization in the world, the international Red Cross and Red Crescent movement. Indian Red Cross society was established in 1920 under the Indian Red Cross Society Act and incorporated under Parliament Act XV of 1920. The Act was last amended in 1992 and of rules was formed in 1994. The IRCS has 36 state/Union territories branches with their more than 1100 district and Sub district branches. Gujarat state branch of Indian red cross society is one of the most active state branch in the country having 33 District and 67 Taluka branches in Gujarat.

As a parent organization IRCS Gujarat state branch has entitled Anklav Taluka branch with legal status according to Uniform Rules of Indian Red Cross society, as per the rules each district branch of Red Cross society shall function under the Presidentship of Deputy Commissioner/ District Magistrate/ District Collector of The Respective District and Taluka Red Cross Branch shall Function Under the Deputy Collector. Since its inception Anklav Taluka Branch has Shoulder the Responsibility to recognize Universal mission of Indian Red Cross society.  

Since, its inception Anklav Taluka branch is dedicating its quality health care services to the underserved population of society. This is done trough interventions like Free health checkup Camps, Awareness programs and Counseling, providing low cost Health services, etc. considering the need of community we also engaged in relief programs we have provided food and essentials to the underserved communities during covid-19 pandemic, and helped needy flood Situation at shisva village of Borsad Taluka.
